The Grayling Recreation Authority and Northwood's Archery club have partnered to bring Archery back to Hanson Hills. The Archery Building was reopened for open shooting on Sunday March 30, 2008. Northwood's will host a variety of programs including youth programs twice a year, adult leagues, and youth leagues. Open shooting will be available Tuesday through Friday from 2pm-8pm. Open Shooting will be open on Saturday for kids only from (10am-2pm) and for adults (2pm-6pm). There will be Adult Leagues starting Sunday April 5, 2008.
Northwood's Archery will also host youth hunting programs for youth 10-16 years of age and will include indoor shooting and outdoor 3-D shooting. Hunting safety course will also be offered. The club is looking at a plan for tournaments.
The First Youth program will start May 1, 2008 and Run 6 weeks on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the archery building. You can register for this online @ www.hansonhills.org.
